This is a World War II or just post-World War II United States Army Airborne overseas cap patch. The patch is German-made in a bevo weave and shows an aircraft and balloon against a blue background. This patch is often seen in 551st Airborne groupings.
VINTAGE:Circa WWII or just post-WWII.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Bevo weave, mesh backing.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto overseas cap.
MARKINGS:None.
