ARTIFACT: This is a circa World War II nurse cadet hat badge by Blackinton in sterling silver. 

This badge was worn by the Nurse Cadet Corps of the US Public Health Service during World War II. 
It is maker-marked on reverse and has a different placement of the hallmark from the other nurse cadet badge by Blackinton that we have on offer (please see link at bottom of page for more information).

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2" in height and 2-3/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with come-under locking catch.

MARKINGS: STERLING BY BLACKINTON.
