This is a member brooch for the Nazi Young Women's Labor Party (Reichsarbeitsdienst der weibliche Jugend, or RADwJ), or Labor Service of the Reich for the Female Youth, formed in 193The oval brooch is in a wartime zinc construction, with 1943 scratched upon the reverse. The brooch was made by maker A.N.G. It shows a swastika rising above two sheaves of wheat and has some spiral embellishments around the border.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 1-11/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Zinc.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin on bar with C catch.
MARKINGS:A.N.G.; 1943 scratched on reverse.
