ARTIFACT: Fabulous, huge WWII United States Army or US Marine Corps Paratrooper sweetheart brooch. This example was made of circa 1943 Wartime Shortage gold plated white metal/pot metal. The reverse shows the patent number "1759639" which dates to roughly 1931.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 2-7/8" x 1-1/2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold plated wartime shortage white metal/pot metal

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with "C" type catch

MARKINGS: "PAT NO. 1759539 MADE IN U.S.A."
