ARTIFACT: This is the hat of a United States Naval cadet in the V-5 program. Hat has a sewn-on patch that reads NAVY V-5 and shows a winged anchor.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 5" height and 11" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool hat with fully embroidered patch, leather band inside and silk lining.

ATTACHMENT: N/A.

MARKINGS: 6 7/8 tag sewn inside.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay MBJX94

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Hat is in great shape but there are a few small holes in it.
