ARTIFACT:

This is the hat of a United States Naval cadet in the V-5 program. Hat has a sewn-on patch that reads NAVY V-5 and shows a winged anchor.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

5" height and 11" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wool hat with fully embroidered patch, leather band inside and silk lining.

MARKINGS:

6 7/8 tag sewn inside.

CONDITION:

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Hat is in great shape but there are a few small holes in it.
