WWII Italian-Made Bullion USAAF European Air Transport Services Shoulder Patch

This is a beautiful shoulder patch handmade in Italy for the United States World War II United States Army Air Forces European Air Transport Service. The patch is in navy blue and pictures a single star flanked by a set of two full golden wings. Patch reads "EUROPEAN AIR TRANSPORT SERVICE" at top in arc formation.

Circa World War II.

About 3-3/8" in height and 4" in width.

Felt patch with hand-embroidered silver and gold bullion.
