ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful shoulder patch handmade in Italy for the United States World War II United States Army Air Forces European Air Transport Service. The patch is in navy blue and pictures a single star flanked by a set of two full golden wings. Patch reads "EUROPEAN AIR TRANSPORT SERVICE" at top in arc formation.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: About 3-3/8" in height and 4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Felt patch with hand-embroidered silver and gold bullion.

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent+): Stunning patch with only a few tiny bits of felt worn away. Just very slight tarnish on bullion.
