WWII Italian Fascist Militia (MVSN) "Blackshirts" MajorÕs Service Dress Uniform Visor Hat

This is a World War II dress uniform visor hat for an Italian Fascist Militia (MVSN - Milizia Volontaria per la Sicurezza Nazionale/ Voluntary Militia for National Security, or Blackshirts) Major. The golden bullion insignia on the front of the hat is a wing beneath a fasces topped with a star.

Circa World War II.

Approximate size 7 – 7 1/8.

Wool embroidered in gold bullion, leather, cotton, clear celluloid.

Chin strap.
