WWII Italian Air Force Silver Strategic Reconnaissance Qualification Badge

This is a great WWII Italian Air Force Badge given to Strategic Reconnaissance pilots who had reached a certain level of experience. The badge is an oval wreath with the Italian Royal crown at top and the knot of Savoy at bottom with a winged torch at center.

About 1-7/16" in width by 2" in height.

White metal with brass pin.

Diagonal pin with C catch.

6+ (Fine—Very Fine): Slightly tarnished appearance with some white corrosion. Appears that diagonal pinback was switched from horizontal at factory.
