ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II Italian Air Force assault combat qualification badge in gold by Bomisa. The badge is an oval wreath with the Italian Royal crown at the top, the knot of Savoy at the bottom and a winged sword at center.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

About 1-3/8" in width by 2" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Aluminum with brass pin.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with come-under "C" type catch.

MARKINGS:

BOMISA MILANO.
