ARTIFACT:
This is a World War II Italian Air Force silver assault combat pilot qualification badge. This badge was given to assault combat pilots who had reached a certain level of experience. The badge is an oval wreath with the Italian Royal crown at the top, the knot of Savoy at the bottom and a winged Fascist sword (or gladiolus) at center. Si tratta di una guerra mondiale Aeronautica Militare Italiana assalto argento combattimento distintivo pilota qualificazione. Questo badge è stato dato ai piloti contro la violenza che aveva raggiunto un certo livello di esperienza. Il badge è una corona ovale con la corona reale italiana in alto, il nodo di Savoia in basso ed una spada alata fascista (o gladiolo) al centro.

Circa World War II. Circa Seconda guerra mondiale.
SIZE:
Approximately 1-7/16" in width by 2" in height. Circa 3.7 cm di 5 cm.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
White metal. Metallo bianco.
