ARTIFACT: Nice WWII Homefront Telephone Operators & Workers sterling silver 'V for Victory' lapel stud. The pin features nicely detailed workers: an operator in the front with two workers at her side centered within a "V". Along the top it reads: "TELEPHONE" in blue painted detail. A banner along the bottom reads: "SERVING FOR VICTORY" in red, white, and blue painted detail. The reverse reads: "METAL ART CO. ROCH. N.Y. STERLING" under the lapel stud.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 7/8" x 3/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling, paint, brass

ATTACHMENT: Brass lapel stud.

MARKINGS: "METAL ART CO. ROCH. N.Y. STERLING"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Homefront collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MADX16 LFEX4/16

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The lapel stud shows moderate wear and some of the painted details remain intact, overall handsome patina.
