This is a World War II homefront United States Army Air forces "V" Day pin. The pin is a yellow and red striped crest, reads MY SERVICES PLEDGED FOR V DAY and shows the winged AAF star.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height x 7/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Celluloid with steel pin.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:WHITEHEAD-HOAG NEWARK, N.J.
