WWII French Naval Badge for F-Class Destroyer "Le Fantastique" (The Whimsical)

Early 1930's French Naval badge for F-Class Destroyer – Le Fantastique (The Whimsical). Le Fantastique DA-16 was launched for active duty in 1936 as part of the 10th Light Division (10th DL). The pin is beautifully enameled and shows a clipper ship against a field of cobalt blue with a large golden F running the height of the pin.

Circa World War II

Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 15/16" in width.

Plated brass, enamel.

Vertical safety-style pin with saddle.
