ARTIFACT: WWII Era New York City Department of Public Health #'d Matron Badge. The large round white celluloid badge reads: "ISSUED BY DEPT. OF HEALTH LICENSED CITY OF NEW YORK" and in the very center it reads: "MATRON 11334", the reverse is made from tin.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII Era

SIZE: Approximately 2 1/16" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid and tin

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety style pin
