This is an English-made United States Army Air Forces Communications Specialist sleeve rate. This could have been worn by an airman in either the 8th or 9th Air Force. The rate is an upside down triangle in cobalt blue and pictures a radio tower embroidered in gold thread.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:About 2" in height and 2-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Felt patch with hand-embroidered silk and cotton thread.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
