This is a rare, mint theatre-made (in the United Kingdom) sleeve rate for a United States Army Air Forces weather specialist. The rate shows a gold weathervane against a field of blue.

Circa World War II.

2-5/16" height and 2-3/4" width.

Painted-on cotton with muslin backing.
