ARTIFACT: This is a World War II English-made correspondent patch for the "Stars and Stripes" wartime newspaper. The patch is arched and reads THE STARS AND STRIPES U.S. ARMY.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 1-3/4" height and 3-11/16" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brown woven cotton patch embroidered in gold cotton thread.

ATTACHMENT: N/A.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: The patch you receive will either be this one or one almost exactly like it. This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJX98 LAFEX 5/10

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): Patch has light wear only except for fraying where it was cut.
