Description
This is an absolutely stunning post-WWII China-Burma-India arena "Pacific Stars and Stripes" war correspondent shoulder patch. This Asian-made patch is a badge shape in royal blue with "Pacific STARS and STRIPES" stitched across the top and four vertical stripes at bottom.
VINTAGE:Circa 1946-1947.
SIZE:2-3/4" height, 3-1/4" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Quilted cotton patch with cotton or silk embroidery and gold bullion wire, silk backing.
