ARTIFACT: This is a set of circa World War II United States military headphones in olive drab. The receivers are marked MX/240-U Left and MX/239-U Right. The set has an 11-1/2" PL-54 cord.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 8-1/4" in height and 3-1/2" in depth; cord length: 11-1/2".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Rubber, vinyl, brass, steel.

ATTACHMENT: Head band, plug cord.

MARKINGS: NATIONAL SCIENTIFIC PROD. CO. CHICAGO, ILL. MFP. DEC. 44; PL 54 on plug; MX/240-U LEFT and MX/239-U RIGHT on receivers; H-16U 8000Ω on lower sides of headband; MX-175/U on headband.
