ARTIFACT:
This is a great hardcover 1945 first edition of "Two Hundred Thousand Flyers: The Story of the Civilian-AAF Pilot Training Program" by World War I veteran of the United States Navy, Willard Wiener. The book is a great reference for the USAAF Civilian Training Program, with information on all participating companies and fields. There are sixteen pages of black and white photographs at the end of the book, along with an index.

Published 1945.

196 pages with 16 additional pages of photographs at end; approximately 9-1/2" in height and 6-3/8" in width and ¾" in thickness.
