ARTIFACT: This is a World War II employee tool check from Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas. In addition to Boeing, Wichita was an early home base to other aircraft and aviation-related companies, including Raytheon and Cessna, earning it the nickname “Air Capital of the World”. The check is oval and is in aluminum. It is numbered on the front.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2” in width and 1-1/8” in height.

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Aluminum.

ATTACHMENT: Hole.

MARKINGS: 14213.
