ARTIFACT: This is a September 28, 1943 issue of United States Army Technical Manual TM 30-602 "French Phrase Book". It covers many useful French words and phrases and examples of words on French road signs. This booklet is not illustrated.

VINTAGE: Circa 1943 (World War II).

SIZE: 128 pages (includes several blank "Notes" pages); approximately 5-1/4" in height and 4-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oaktag cover, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Stapled binding.

MARKINGS: U.S GOVERNMENT PRINTING OFFICE: 1944-O-615455.
