This is an ammunition belt dated 1942 for an M-1 Garand, the semi-automatic rifle used by the United States Army from 1936 until 1957.
VINTAGE:Circa 1942.
SIZE:Approximately 4-3/8" in height and 33-1/4" total in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Burlap, plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Interlocking buckle; snaps.
MARKINGS:(Illegible) 1942; STAR PULL on hardware.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The belt has a couple of small areas of minor discoloration and some rust marks on the inside and outside of the middle section.
