This is a World War I United States Air Service Private First Class sleeve rate, which shows a winged propeller at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 2-5/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt embroidered in cotton/silk threads with partial mesh backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:The rate you receive will either be the one pictured or one in very similar condition. This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months LBDX6/11
CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The rate has some light wear and a few small holes where the wool is worn through.
