ARTIFACT: This is a World War I United States Air Service winged propeller officer collar insignia. The insignia has a flat reverse and flat blades, and slightly smaller pin than most.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 1" in height and 1-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Copper- and nickel-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with tongue-style catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCEL97 LADEX7/12

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The insignia shows some light wear and tarnish.
