WWI US Air Service Insignia for Cadet or Unassigned Service NO LONGER AVAILABLE

This is a World War I United States Air Service insignia for either a cadet or an individual who had not been assigned service. The design of the insignia is a propeller.

Circa World War I.

2-3/8" diameter.

Wool felt embroidered in silk/cotton threads.
