ARTIFACT:

This is a banner given to an American family whose son served in a World War I machine gun company. Banner is gold and shows a single star flag at center with a mounted machine gun at bottom.
VINTAGE:Circa WWI.
SIZE:9" height and 5" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt with hand-embroidered silk or cotton thread.
ATTACHMENT:Attached brass eyelet hanger.

CONDITION:9- (Excellent+): Color is virtually its original hue with just about no wear evident. Small smudge on reverse.
