ARTIFACT: This is a banner given to an American family whose son served in a World War I machine gun company. Banner is gold and shows a single star flag at center with a mounted machine gun at bottom.

VINTAGE: Circa WWI.

SIZE: 9" height and 5" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool felt with hand-embroidered silk or cotton thread.

ATTACHMENT: Attached brass eyelet hanger.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWI collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MGEX09 LAGEX SAEJX2/11

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent+): Color is virtually its original hue with just about no wear evident. Small smudge on reverse.
