Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a World War I machine gun munitions worker badge. The badge has a bar at top that reads WAR WORKER, and the medallion reads MACHINE GUNS and shows a man at a forge and an eagle.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War I.

SIZE:

1-11/16" height and 1-5/16" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Bronze.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal brass safety pin on bar and two suspension rings to medallion.

MARKINGS:

GORHAM CO.
