Description
SUBJECT: This is a World War I Iron Cross 2nd Class medal. The cross has a W and an imperial crown on it and reads 1914, and hangs from a black and white striped ribbon. The reverse of the cross reads FW 1813 and shows a crown and a bunch of leaves.
VINTAGE: Circa World War I.
SIZE: 3-7/8 height and 1-3/4 width.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Nickel-plated brass with black paint and a silk ribbon.
ATTACHMENT: Original horizontal safety-style pin.
MARKINGS: N/A.
