This is a World War I French Madaille Militaire with Barbell Suspension with Wording on REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE 1870 on front and VALEUR ET DISCIPLINE (FRENCH REPUBLIC 1870 on front and VALUE AND DISCIPLINE on back)

World War I.

Approximately: 3-3/4" in height x 1-1/2" in width. Barbell Suspension: 1-15/16" in length.

Gilt Bronze and Enameled and Silver plated Bronze with Silk ribbon and

8+ (Excellent): The medal shows little to minor wear and silk ribbon shows one tiny black spot, otherwise, it is in excellent condition.
