ARTIFACT: WWI Era Mamaroneck, New York police department Special Police badge. The center of the badge shows the number: "58" and surrounding it reads: "SPECIAL POLICE MAMARONECK, N.Y." in black painted detail. The badge is topped with an eagle and the reverse catch is missing.

VINTAGE: Circa WWI Era

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" x 1-7/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated nickel, black paint

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin, catch is missing.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJX16 LAAEX6/16

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine—Very Fine): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, reverse catch is missing, much of the plated and painted details remain intact, great patina.
