ARTIFACT: This is a Rare, World War I Austrian "Aviation Troops" patriotic hat pin in gilt and silvered bronze. Stick pin shows an eagle facing the viewer's right above a propeller at reads: K.u.K. LUFT - FAHRTRUPPE. As worn on officer's shako Helmet.

VINTAGE: Circa WWI.

SIZE: Approximately Total: 1 3/16" in width x 2-7/16" in height Badge: 1 3/16" in width x 1-1/4" in height

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt and silvered bronze.
