ARTIFACT: This is a World War I Aero Club of America Identification Booklet for pilot Joseph V. Rempsen. The booklet is leather-bound and is dated and signed by the President and Secretary of the Club as well as Rempsen and has a photo of him in full gear. The Federation Aeronautique Internationale issues these certificates to pilots who had fulfilled their conditions as an aviator pilot. There is a request listed in six different languages for "civil, naval and military authorities, including the Police, ... to aid the holder of this Certificate".

VINTAGE: Circa 1918.

SIZE: 4-1/4" x 3" booklet.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Blue leather-bound single-page booklet with photograph.

MARKINGS: Photograph is stamped.
