This is a 4th Hussars Canadian Expeditionary Forces collar badge from World War I. The 4th was form Ontario. The badge has a horse's head at its center and reads PRO ARIS ET FOCIS (for our altars and for our homes).
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/8" in height and 1-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Two loops, cotter pin.
MARKINGS:None.
