ARTIFACT: This is a 4th Hussars Canadian Expeditionary Forces collar badge from World War I. The 4th was form Ontario. The badge has a horse's head at its center and reads PRO ARIS ET FOCIS (for our altars and for our homes).

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/8" in height and 1-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Two loops, cotter pin.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Great Britain and Commonwealth collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEX05 LFJX4/12 SEJX10/12

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has light to medium wear and tarnish. .
