This is a World War II badge for the Order of the Patriotic War, an award that was given to all ranks of the Soviet Union's Army, Navy and Air Force. The badge shows a red star with a sword and bayonet in the background and a hammer and sickle at center.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:1-3/4" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw pin with disc backing.
MARKINGS:Maker's mark (in Russian).
