Polish World War II 2nd Corps Badge

This is a World War II badge for the Polish 2nd Corps. Badge reads POLSKI KORPUS 2 and shows a mermaid ready to do battle atop a crest and flanked by laurel leaves.

Circa WWII.

1-7/16" height and 3/4" width.

Nickel-plated brass with cloth-covered cardboard backing.

Pin with single-screw attachment.

38861 serial number on reverse.

6+ (Fine&emdash;Very Fine): Badge is handsomely tarnished with some scraping, mostly on reverse.
