ARTIFACT: This is a World War I United States Food Administration Member Pin. It has a shield on the obverse with an American flag pattern surrounded by a laurel.

VINTAGE: Circa WWI

SIZE: Approximately 13/16" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt bronze and painted laminate.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety type pin with over-under catch

MARKINGS: "W.H. EHEAD & HOAG CO. DORAT PATENT"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Homefront collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAX90 LBCX03/17

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine): Light wear and oxidization. The maker mark on the back is scratched and some of it is difficult to make out due to wear.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
