This is a World War I State of New Jersey Service medal. The medal hangs from a blue and gold ribbon with a bar at the top reading NEW JERSEY. The reverse of the medal reads FROM THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY TO ITS CITIZENS WHO SERVED IN THE WORLD WAR.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 3" in height and 1-7/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Bronze, silk.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with C catch, suspension ring.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The medal shows some light to medium wear and tarnish; ribbon shows some small spots of wear.
