ARTIFACT: This is a wonderful World War II Dutch East Indies Air Force Observer Wing. This is a full size wing made out of tortoise shell. Being made of a shell, this wing has an incredible and unique pattern to it!

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: About 7/8" in height x 3-1/4" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Tortoise Shell with steel pin.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with open catch.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Foreign Air Force Wing collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCEX17 LDIEX6/17 SDEJX09/24

CONDITION: 9 (Excellent - Near Mint): The wing is simply beautiful, with minimal signs of wear.
