Wonderful vintage 1920's 1930's McNess Humpty Dumpty Baby Powder Tin. The tin displays vibrant colors and tells the nursery rhyme of Humpty Dumpty. The front of the tin displays Humpty sitting atop a brick wall, beneath him reads: "McNESS HUMPTY DUMPTY BORATED TALC AND BABY POWDER "SOFT AS DOWN". The front begins the nursery rhyme with: "HUMPTY-DUMPTY SAT ON A WALL", one side shows Humpty falling down and beneath him reads: "HUMPTY-DUMPTY HAD", the reverse shows Humpty falling to the ground just about to land on his back, below him reads: "A GREAT FALL ". Above him reads the same as the front. The other side reads: "ALL THE KINGS HORSES AND ALL THE KINGS MEN COULDN'T PUT HUMPTY-DUMPTY BACK TOGETHER AGAIN" and beneath shows Humpty cracked and broken on the ground. The base of the can displays: "MANUFACTURED BY NcNESS CO. CHEMISTS AND MANUFACTURING PHARMACISTS FREEPORT, ILLINOIS, U. S. A. ESTABLISHED 1908 12 OUNCES NET WEIGHT".
