ARTIFACT:

This is a Wonderful Late 1920's South Gate California Police Captain Badge #2 by Carl Entenmann Jewelry Company. This badge is in the same style as neighboring Los Angeles Police Department's Series 5 Badge.

VINTAGE:

Late 1920's.

SIZE:

Approximately 3-3/8" in height x 2-1/2" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass, hard-fired blue enamel and nickel findings. The badge weighs in at a hefty 2.9oz / 82g.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with Original Large Tube Type C Catch, and Wire "Rivets".
