ARTIFACT: Wonderful, large bronze and wood 1922 United States Naval Academy Annapolis class plaque by Bailey, Banks, and Biddle Co., Philadelphia. The large bronze center shows an eagle with wings spread perched atop an anchor with a trident rising behind and set between two crossed swords. The year 1922 is above a nicely detailed ship navigating the sea with the letters: "USNA" beneath. The centerpiece is affixed to a thick, dark stained wood plaque and the reverse shows the original paper sticker.

VINTAGE: Circa 1922.

SIZE: Approximately 11" x 14"; Bronze 8-1/8" x 8-7/8".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wood, plated bronze, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Hook for hanging.

MARKINGS: "BAILEY, BANKS, AND BIDDLE CO. PHILADELPHIA 1832" paper sticker on reverse

CONDITION: 6 (Fine+): The wood plaque shows moderate wear mostly to edges, much of the plated details remain, overall handsome patina.
