This is a Wonderful Early 1960's Mid-Century Cocktail Gorget & Earrings by FANK PATANIA Sr. (b: July 4, 1899 d: February 26, 1964. age 64 years)
Frank Patania Sr. (1899-1964) was born in Sicily and immigrated to the United States at an early age. He began working as a jeweler at age 6, first apprenticing in Italy, and later with a goldsmith in New York. He moved out to the West after contracting tuberculosis and settled in Santa Fe. Frank Patania, Sr. was an internationally known silversmith and owner of the Thunderbird Studio in Santa Fe.

Early 1960s.

Approximately: Necklace: 2" in diameter (Center piece) x 8-3/4" in length. / Earrings: 1-3/8" in diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Sterling silver, Godber Burnham Turquoise.
ATTACHMENT:
Ring.
MARKINGS:
"FP" conjoined vertically in a circle along with the thunderbird.
