ARTIFACT:

This is a wonderful circa early 1950s straw boater hat with a fabulous silk band made by the award-winning Melton of Fifth Avenue. Honey-colored straw with brown, sienna and steel blue silk: the Melton motto, "Art in Hats", is embodied here. The ladies will take notice, and the gentsÉ well, they'll just want your hat! Size 6 7/Excellent condition.

Circa early 1950s.
