ARTIFACT: This is a rare title to have on an old badge: a wonderful circa 1880s "City Police" stock badge. The shield-shaped badge is in hand-cut, stamped sheet nickel with a large brass pin.

VINTAGE: Circa 1880s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/8" in height and 1-13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Hand-cut, stamped sheet nickel, brass pin.

ATTACHMENT: Large vertical safety-style pin in brass.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an OLD WEST western and lawman badge collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDEJX14 LAIGEX2/14 SAGJJX3/14

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The badge has some small spots of light to medium wear and tarnish.
