This is a rare title to have on an old badge: a wonderful circa 1880s "City Police" stock badge. The shield-shaped badge is in hand-cut, stamped sheet nickel with a large brass pin.
VINTAGE:Circa 1880s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/8" in height and 1-13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Hand-cut, stamped sheet nickel, brass pin.
ATTACHMENT:Large vertical safety-style pin in brass.
MARKINGS:None.
