Wonderful 1890s-1900 Deputy Sheriff 6-Point Star Badge by Williamson

This is a beautiful old 6-point star stock Deputy Sheriff Badge. It is made by Williamson circa 1900, maybe even back a little into the 1890s, with a very early thin flat saddle on the pin. It is a nickel badge, with an extra nickel plating on front. It is very unique with all the star decorations on front, and another lovely detail are the lead-filled ball tips on the star points. This badge has a great dark patina on back.

Approximately 2-1/8" in height and 1-7/8" in width.

Nickel, with nickel plating on front.

Vertical safety-style pin, saddle.
