Description
Wonderful 1880's - 1890's heavy duty, leather wrapped sap. Thick, heavy, spring and lead loaded tip. Nice nickeled brass fitting with what appears to be the original lanyard, leather still supple.
VINTAGE:Circa 1880's - 1890's.
SIZE:Approximately 7-1/2" x 1" in diameter; Lanyard: 6".
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Leather, thread, nickeled brass, nickel, lead.
ATTACHMENT:Leather lanyard attached to nickeled brass fitting.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The sap shows moderate to heavy wear, the sewn seam shows separation, leather lanyard is supple, some of the nickel plating remains intact, overall fine condition.
