Cool 1920's MEB Diplomat Leather Wrapped Lift-Arm Lighter

This is a cool M. E. Bernhardt (MEB) Co. Diplomat leather wrapped lift-arm lighter. It was manufactured by Eisenstadt Manufacturing Co. of St. Louis, Missouri for M.E. Bernhardt. This style of lighter is known as a lift arm, and it opens so the flint can be struck and light the wick. The arm itself has a snuffer to put out the flame.
