This is a Vintage 1980s Salem, MA Fire Dept, Badge #40 by Blackinton. Probably Retirement Badge to the last wearers of the 1920's-1930's Salem Fire Department, also #40. Badge is still inside of Original Blackinton plastic bag.

Vintage 1980's.

Approximately 2-3/8" in height x 1-1/8" in width.

Chrome-plated brass, enamel.

Vertical kick pin with drop in locking catch.
