This is a circa 1940s named Illinois Department of Conservation conservation instructor badge. The name engraved on the back of the badge is that of Thomas Augustine.

Circa 1940s.

About 1-1/4" in width by 1-1/4" in height.

Brass.

Vertical pin with a "drop in" locking catch.
